Welcome to the worldwide society of hot shit, bad ass, rock stars: women and non-binary people who change the world by being themselves and encouraging others to do the same.

In 2012, Anita Verna Crofts and Jessica Esch decided the world needed more people to call out and own their awesome. What started at as an acronym spurring each other on quickly became a rally cry and this society was born.

HSBARS (hez-bars) refers to both a singular HSBARS and multiple HSBARS. A group of HSBARS is a “helen.” 

You can find HSBARS communities online (use the hashtag #HSBARS) and in your own backyard. HSBARS are on every continent and in every country–-a truly global movement.
